This website!

Okay, maybe I went a little overboard on this one... but I had fun!

This website is written in Rust with a few notable dependencies:

• Axum, for serving HTTP requests
• Maud, for HTML templating
• Comrak and Serde for parsing Markdown files for each of these projects.

Since the VPS I host this server from runs NixOS, I have the configuration I need for running this defined as a NixOS module that I import in my system configuration's flake.nix, which makes it super easy to configure and maintain long-term.

Simplify

For most of 2024, I was working on Epic's Simplify project on two fronts:

• I was a member of the framework team, where I was responsible for integrating the project with controls that are ubiquitous in our software, and helping to define APIs used by several teams.
• At the same time, I used those APIs to implement the project's functionality at one higher level of abstraction.

Since then, I've gone on a trip to shadow end users, and I remain my workgroup's point-person for Simplify-related work.
